The most dangerous enemies of Wolves are big game hunters, cattle ranchers who use public land to graze their product, and the most subversive of all, ally to the other two, a government sponsored group of killers called "Wildlife Services."

"When you begin to touch your heart or let your heart be touched, you begin to discover that it's bottomless, that it doesn't have any resolution, that this heart is huge, vast, and limitless. You begin to discover how much warmth and gentleness is there, as well as how much space." ~Pema Chodron

Hunt the hunters!!

I feel that there is a difference betwen those who hunt for food, or to protect the newborn calves, and lambs and other livestock they own and care for, on the one hand. and the bloodthirsty helicopter hunts, and the type who want to go on hunting preserves where animals are kept captive for them to play hunter with where the animals can't escape. i'd say it would be OK tto cull the population of those type of hunters - and the folks who spply the helicopters and the fenced in hunting preserves.

But one must forgive folks who protect their own livestock. We love baby calves and little lambs, more than we respect wolves - wolves belong in a wilder world. Too bad the earth was made with predators and prey, and such horrid DNA and hormones in so many males, and their handmaiden type women. Bless the men who are not vicious.
